Hey, Julia
We are thrilled to introduce Hey, Julia—a dramedy feature film that delves into love, ambition, and the weight of keeping secrets from those you love. The story follows Max, a struggling author. He harbors a deep desire to create something profound and find true love despite his self-deprecating humor and moments of misled confidence. It also follows his love interest Julia, a beautiful red-haired woman with a talent for music. She is charming, bright, and lively. Her character reveals depth and naivety as she navigates her emotions and ultimately seeks stability, independence, and trust in her life. At its core, Hey, Julia explores the fragility of mental health, jealousy, and the necessity for human connection, blending comedy and drama in a way that’s fresh, bold, funny, and deeply moving.
Our team has spent years growing as filmmakers, pushing boundaries with each project. Our first short film was a ten-page narrative short and had a very successful run on the film festival circuit. Our next project was a narrative feature film created without outside funding and is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Now, Hey, Julia is our most ambitious film yet—years in the making, developed with the knowledge and experience we’ve gained along the way.
But to do this story justice, we need your help. Independent filmmaking requires immense passion, dedication, and yes—funding. With your support, we can bring Hey, Julia to life at the level it truly deserves. Every contribution, big or small, helps us take a crucial step forward.
